Start Your Manifesting Process

Today I am back and I am so happy to be here with you on the Talking Is Medicine platform.  

I think setting an intention is a great place to start when we are trying to create positive change in our lives. Intentions remind us of what it is we actually want and help us map out a path of how we can do it.

Intentions are an important part of my health journey because they help me stay on track and create lasting change. Today, I want to focus on one positive change you can bring into your life for the second half of the summer and set an intention around it. 

To help us figure out what that intention could be, have a look at this list, and I want you to number them in order of most satisfied (number 1) to least satisfied (number 12).  
For example:
If you are most satisfied with your Career, you will number this 1. 
If you are least satisfied with Home Cooking, this will be number 12 on your list. 

This is a great way to identify what you are currently prioritising in your life and maybe where you can shift your attention and energy to over the summer.

  • Social Life  
  • Relationships 
  • Home Environment  
  • Home Cooking 
  • Physical Activity  
  • Health 
  • Education
  • Career  
  • Finances 
  • Creativity  
  • Spirituality  

The most important thing to remember is that you don’t want to overwhelm yourself on any self-care or wellness journey. I am a true believer that making one tiny change or shift at a time is how you can create real, lasting changes. 

When setting an intention, make sure it is positive focused, not something you ‘don’t want’. Choose something you are energised by, not something that may feel too big or overwhelm you. 

Here are some examples: 

If you are the least satisfied with home cooking...can you set an intention to create a meal plan for the week every Sunday morning?

If you are least satisfied with joy, can you make an intention to create a joy list. List the things that bring you joy in your life and choose to connect with one thing on that list at least once per week. 

If you are the least satisfied with your career, can you set an intention to create a vision board detailing your dream job, so you can see clearly what direction you want to go in and start making small shifts to take you there. 

By setting an intention today, you are sending a clear signal to the universe about what you are trying to create more of in your life. 

Remember, if we don’t change, nothing changes, so congratulate yourself on taking this first step. 

So, grab a piece of paper, your journal or even the notes page on your phone and write down your intention for the rest of the summer. 

My intention is….
